There are multiple ways to create a car bed.
Car bed made from a complete car
In this case, the bed is crafted from a complete car. The interior of the car is removed, the base is modified according to the requirements, and the roof and doors are either kept or removed based on the customer's preference. Certain models, such as Smart cars, have such strong frames that even with the roof cut off, the structure remains stable, and the doors can be opened and closed freely. However, most cars have a unibody structure that becomes significantly weaker when the roof is cut, making the doors unusable or requiring significant reinforcement.
This, however, increases the weight, which needs to be considered.
The interior linings are generally preserved to maintain the original look of the car’s interior, but adjustments can be made if the customer prefers. The size of the car bed primarily depends on the car itself. Together with the customer, we determine the required bed size and the available space in the room, which helps define the car model. Of course, if the customer has a specific car in mind, we start from there.

Car bed from a flatbed truck
It’s also possible to create a car bed from a flatbed truck. Either only the flatbed is used, or the entire truck cabin is incorporated into the car bed. Currently, it’s easiest to source flatbed vehicles from the former socialist countries, as they have become classics. American models are also available, but they involve significantly higher costs and longer production times.

Standard bed with a car section or half car at the end
Some customers prefer a standard-sized large double bed. This cannot be made from a normal car without significant modifications, so it’s possible to convert a standard bed into a car bed. The car type is freely selectable if it is available, and its selection requires consultation.

The room is upstairs? No problem!
Of course, there are cases where it’s simply not possible to bring the car bed in whole. In such cases, we can deliver the car bed in parts and assemble it securely on-site. A preliminary survey and consultation are necessary in every case!
